Its name derives from the protuberance on the underside of the fruit, similar to a navel, which is its distinctive feature; in fact, inside the citrus fruit, it is often possible to find another small orange that is just as delicious. A surprise gift from nature!
Medium-thick skin; blonde flesh, very sweet, seedless, juicy. Versatile in any preparation.
The skin is edible as it is not treated with synthetic waxes, pesticides or preservatives.
Beneficial natural properties

Rich in citric acid, vitamins (including C, A, B1, B2, PP), mineral salts, antioxidants, flavonoids, folic acid and fibre.
It has a very low sugar content and, thanks to its high water content, has draining, anti-inflammatory, purifying and anti-tumour properties. It is beneficial for the cardiovascular system and helps to reduce bad cholesterol.
