THE ORANGE SAPPHIRE OF THE ISLAND

A mandarin orange born from a cross between a mandarin and a sweet orange. Thanks to the unique Mediterranean climate and mineral-rich soil, Sicilian clementines acquire an intense aroma and a sweet, lively flavour.
Primosole clementines are an early variety that precedes the later Nova clementines.
Very thin skin; orange flesh, seedless, very sweet; like mandarins, they are easy to peel and divide into segments, while their sweet taste is more similar to that of oranges.
The skin is edible as it is not treated with synthetic waxes, pesticides or preservatives.
Beneficial natural properties

Rich in citric acid, vitamins (including C and A), minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids, folic acid and fibre.
It has a very low sugar content and, thanks to its high water content, has draining and purifying properties.
It aids digestion.
